Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be back in action, in a pair of non-conference match-ups, on Tuesday at 4 pm, as they also each look to remain unbeaten, when men's soccer squad (2-0) travels to take on Old Westbury, while women's tennis side (1-0) hosts St. Joseph's College-NY.
The Lightning soccer team, who are off to their best start since 2016 campaign, are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory against visiting SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Old Westbury Panthers (0-1) dropped 3-2 decision to hosts Stevens Institute of Technology over the weekend.
The last time Lehman-Old Westbury faced off on the soccer field was on October 7, 2018, with the visiting Panthers posting a 1-0 overtime win at South Field. The loss ended a three-game unbeaten streak for the Lightning against the Panthers.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, women's tennis squad will have its home season opener at The APEX courts against Bears of St. Joseph's-NY. The Lightning are coming off an 8-1 triumph at Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, while the Bears are commencing their season.
Lehman has won six consecutive matches against St. Joseph's-NY with its last meeting coming on September 22, 2016, with the Lightning posting a 6-2 victory at The APEX courts.
Lizaveta Markouskaya was victorious in #2 singles (6-1, 6-2), while
Leslie Juanacio won her #3 doubles match with
Nadia Baba (8-5).
