The Lightning (0-7) are still looking for their victory of the season after suffering a 16-5 defeat at the hands of Catholic University yesterday in Myrtle Beach. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 1-4 having lost 15-2 Hood College on Monday afternoon to Hood College.
First pitch is scheduled for 9 AM.
In recent years the two schools have met three times on the diamond with the Wildcats owning a 2-1 advantage in the series. The lone Lehman victory was in 2016 when the Lightning prevailed 9-3 thanks in part to a 5 rbi day by Chris Lopez.
Juan Arias also had a strong day for Lehman going 3-5 at the plate with three runs scored. The Wildcats got even later that trip with a 6-2 victory. In 20-18, the last time the schools met, Penn College earned a 4-1 victory. All three previous games were in Myrtle Beach.
