Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College men's athletic teams will be in action on Wednesday as the baseball squad returns to South Field, following a nine-game road swing, for its home opener, while the tennis side commence its season on the road.
Under the direction of first-year coach
Michal Bareket-Bloom, the tennis team will travel to take on Drew University (10-0) in a non-conference match at Drew Tennis Complex in Madison, N.J. at 4 pm.
The Rangers, who are facing the Lightning for the first time on tennis court, are coming off 5-4 win over Roanoke during PTR Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head Island, S.C. on March 6
th.
Also, on Wednesday, Lehman baseball squad (0-9) is back at home, after its participation in The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C. last week, when it greets Yeshiva in a non-conference encounter with first pitch set for 5 pm.

The Lightning have won 13 consecutive games against the Maccabees since 2008. Last time both sides faced off was during a twin-bill held at South Field on April 12, 2019, with the hosts taking both encounters (10-9; 17-4).
