Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be back in action on Saturday as the softball squad concludes its participation at the 30
th Annual Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla., while the baseball side will compete in another twin-bill as part of The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The Lightning softball (0-4) will take on U.S. Coast Guard Academy (0-0) and then Kenyon College (8-0) at 9 am and 11 am, respectively, on Saturday, at Fort Myers' CenturyLink Sports Complex.
Lehman is coming off a pair of losses at Gene Cusic Classis against Drew University and Clark University, respectively, on Friday.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Lightning baseball (0-4) will face Fredonia State University (1-1) in a non-conference twin-bill at the Myrtle Beach's Ripken Experience Complex starting at 10 am.
Fredonia has won the last two meetings against Lehman with the most recent one taking place on March 1, 2019 at The Ripken Experience, with Blue Devils winning 16-1.
