Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Lehman College baseball team lost both encounters (19-8; 10-7) of a non-conference twin-bill to Fredonia State University on Saturday, during The Ripken Experience.  The Lightning fall to 0-6 record this season, while the Blue Devils improve to 3-2 mark.

Lehman jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first game after infielder Jeremmy Santos drove in two runs, while outfielder Glennd Jarrin added an RBI in the bottom of second inning.  Fredonia came back and scored 12 runs in the next three innings to take a 12-3 advantage by the top of the fifth.  After a two-run homer from infielder Michael Zerbo and another RBI by Santos cut the Lehman deficit to half (12-6) by the bottom of the fifth, however, Fredonia went on a 7 to 2 run in the final two innings for the victory.

In the nightcap, the Lightning had a 7-6 lead going into the bottom of the fifth, however, Blue Devils notched four more runs in the next two innings to complete the two-game sweep.  Jarrin had two RBI and scored once, while infielder Kyle James also crossed the plate twice and drove in a pair of runs for Lehman.

The Lightning continue their participation at The Ripken Experience when they take on Albertus Magnus Collee in a non-conference encounter set for Sunday at 6 pm.
