Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be in action this Saturday as men's soccer squad hosts CUNYAC rival Medgar Evers College, while the women's volleyball side travels for a non-conference tri-match at Ramapo College.
The Lightning soccer (2-3-1; 0-1 CUNYAC), who are looking to rebound after a overtime home loss to conference foe Brooklyn College this past Wednesday, hosts the Medgar Evers' Cougars (0-5; 0-1 CUNYAC) on Saturday at South Field with kickoff set for noon. Fans can follow all the action via

Lehman holds an 8-3-1 overall record against Medgar Evers in head-to-head encounters since 2008. The last meeting between the two sides took place on October 23, 2019, Forward

Elsewhere on Saturday, the Lehman volleyballers (0-4) will look to end its current nine-match losing skid, when it heads to the Bradley Center in Mahwah, N.J. to face the hosts Ramapo Roadrunners (3-8) at 11 am ET and then at 1 pm ET square off against Immaculata University (3-4). Ramapo has won six of the last seven head-to-head meetings against Lehman since 2009. In the previous encounter, the Roadrunners defeated the visiting Lightning in three straight sets (25-7, 25-11, 25-13) on November 2, 2019, at the Bradley Center. Meanwhile, it will be the first meeting for Lehman against Immaculata.
