Bronx, N.Y. – Three Lehman College athletics sides will hosts matches on Wednesday as men's and women's soccer teams face off against CUNYAC opponents Brooklyn College and CCNY, respectively, while women's volleyball squad squares off against Rutgers-Newark in non-conference affair.
The twin-bill at South Field commence at 4:30 pm ET when the Lightning women's soccer (2-2, 0-0 CUNYAC) open conference play against CCNY's Beavers (2-4; 0-0 CUNYAC). Fans can follow the action via

Lehman is coming off a 3-1 home-victory against non-conference rival St. Joseph's College-NY over the weekend, while CCNY blanked Pratt Institute, 4-0.
The Beavers hold a 7-5 edge in the head-to-head series against the Lightning since 2012. The last time the both sides met was on November 2, 2019, during CUNYAC Championship Semifinals as CCNY posted a 3-1 win at Fordham University's Jack Coffey Field.
In Wednesday's doubleheader nightcap at South Field, the Lehman men's soccer (2-2-1; 0-0 CUNYAC) kicks off conference action at 7 pm ET against the Brooklyn Bulldogs (0-7; 0-3 CUNYAC). Fans can follow the action via

The Lightning are currently riding a seven-game home unbeaten streak, while, the Bulldogs have dropped seven consecutive matches during this fall campaign (eight overall since 2019).
Lehman has won two of the last three encounters against Brooklyn, however the Bulldogs have a 7-4-2 overall ledger in head-to-head meetings since 2009. In the previous match-up between the two teams, the hosts earned a 2-1 victory on Sept. 28, 2019 at Brooklyn College Field.

Lehman is aiming to end its current eight-match losing skid, while Rutgers-Newark dropped three straight sets (13-25, 7-25, 18-25) at home to NJAC rival Montclair State on Tuesday evening.
Scarlet Raiders have won five of the six head-to-head encounters against the Lightning since 2007, which includes the last four straights. Previous meeting between the two squads took place on October 18, 2018 at The Golden Dome in Newark, N.J., with the hosts posting a 3-1 victory (25-15, 25-10, 21-25, 25-21).
