Box Score Brooklyn, N.Y. – Second-half tallies from defender Rahaman Abdulhaire and midfielder Jimmy Lopez paced the Lehman College men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory against hosts Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC match-up at Old Boys H.S. Field on Saturday.  The Lightning improve to a 4-3-2 overall record and 2-0 in CUNYAC play, while the Cougars fall to 0-9 mark and 0-2 in conference action.
 
After outshooting Medgar Evers 15-0 in the first half, the score-line remained 0-0 until the 55^th minute-mark when Lopez scored off a corner kick taken by midfielder Mohammad Jagne to give Lehman a 1-0 lead.
 
Eleven minutes later (66^th) Abdulhaire notched his first collegiate goal from 20 yards out off an assist from forward Mohamed Ali Sogoba.
 
Lightning goalkeeper Adrian Magana-Santos did not need to make a save to obtain his first shut out victory of the season.
 
Lehman looks to remain undefeated in CUNYAC action when it welcomes Hunter College on Wednesday (October 5^th) at South Field with a kickoff set for 4 pm ET.
