Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be in action on Tuesday as the baseball side travels for a non-conference game at Manhattanville College, while the men's volleyballers compete in the opening round of the CUNYAC Championships at CCNY.
The action begins at 3:30 pm ET with Lightning baseball squad (5-3) meeting the Valiants (9-10) at Manhattanville Baseball Field in Purchase, N.Y. Fans can also follow all the action via

Lehman is coming off a two-game CUNYAC sweep of CCNY at South Field over the weekend.
Nomar Rijo led the offense in the opener going two-for-three, with homer, two runs scored and four RBI as Lightning won 15-3. In the nightcap,
Justin Nunez went two-for-three with four RBI for Lehman's 11-9 victory.
Meanwhile, Manhattanville split a Skyline Conference doubleheader with visiting Maritime College on Monday. After winning the opener 14-2, the Valiants dropped the nightcap 5-3.
Manhattanville holds a 23-15 advantage in the head-to-head meetings against Lehman since 1982, including eight of the last 10 encounters. The previous encounter between the two sides took place on April 16, 2019 at Manhattanville Baseball Field with the hosts winning 19-6.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, the sixth-seeded Lightning volleyballers (7-14) will be making their first CUNYAC Postseason appearance since 2018 when they take on the third-seeded CCNY Beavers (12-6) in first round action at Nat Holman Gymnasium with the first serve set for 7 pm ET. Lehman is coming off a three-set conference loss (14-25, 18-25, 15-25) at Baruch College to conclude the regular season last Thursday.
Ray Rodriguez paced the Lightning offense with nine kills and 13 digs, while
Miguel Gonzalez added six kills and
Christian Agudo dished out 13 assists.
Meanwhile, the Beavers ended the regular season with a three-set CUNYAC victory (25-15, 25-8, 25-11) at York College-NY last Tuesday.
CCNY has a 13-9 edge in the head-to-head encounters against Lehman since 2009 with the Beavers winning the last five matches. The last time both sides faced off was last month (March 17
th) at The APEX Main Gym with CCNY winning in three sets (12-25, 11-25, 22-25). Rodriguez once again led the Lightning with nine kills and eight digs, while
Christian Agudo had a 'double-double' as he dished out 18 assists while grabbing 11 digs.
