New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's swimming team fell 55-17 to hosts Hunter College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at Manhattan's North Pool, on Wednesday evening.  The Lightning go to an 0-3 overall record and 0-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Hawks improved to a 3-2 mark and 2-0 in conference play.

Ofelia Valadez was the highlight for Lehman in the individual events as she claimed gold in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:26.94.

In the team events on Wednesday, Aisling Burgos, Danelli Lora, Massiel Lora and Marlena Thomas took first place for the Lightning in the 200 Freestyle Relay clocking in at 3:20.11.

Lehman will be back in action on Saturday (November 18th) as both men's and women's sides compete in a tri-meet against Western Connecticut State and SUNY-Delhi at The APEX Swimming Pool with the first event set for 1 pm ET.
