Men’s Soccer Hold Brooklyn To 1:1 Tie

Box Score Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer held the hosts Brooklyn College to a 1-1 draw, during a CUNYAC encounter, at BC Field on Wednesday.  The Lightning improved to a 3-6-2 overall record and 1-0-2 in conference play, while the Bulldogs go to a 3-7-1 mark and 2-0-1 in CUNYAC action.

Lehman opened the scoring in the 23rd minute-mark with a tally from midfielder Brandon Dennis off an assist from forward Mohamed Ali Sogoba.

Brooklyn got the equalizer 11 minutes later when midfielder Bradlej Cupi scored off a pass from teammate Seif Mokhtar.  The Bulldog's tally also ended the Lightning's defense streak of 414 minutes without allowing a goal.

Lehman also outshot Brooklyn 18 to 9, while the Lightning goalkeeper Andres Barajas had saves.

Lehman will look to extend its current four-game unbeaten streak when it hosts Hunter College, in an important CUNYAC game, at South Field on Monday (October 14th) at 3 pm ET.
