New Haven, Conn. – Both Lehman College men's and women's indoor track and field sides took part in the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge, hosted by South Connecticut State University, at James Moore Field House, on Saturday, where the Lightning had five athletes finishing in the top 10 at individual events against Division I, II and III teams.
The Lehman men had
Marc Saint-Hillaire taking the eighth position at the 1 Mile Run with a time of 5:00.21, while
Fernando Madrid and
Oludemilade Lekan Michael were placed eighth (2:19.64) and ninth (2:22.06), respectively, in the 800m event.
For the Lightning women,
Shivani Raghuthu finished eighth in the 800m as she clocked in at 3:10.28, while
Leila Simmons was ninth in the 400m with a time of 1:10.49.
Lehman returns to action next month as it commences 2026 competing at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Invitational on January 9th at the Ocean Breeze Park Track/Field Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.
