New Britain, Conn. – Both Lehman College outdoor track and field sides participated in Central Connecticut State University's Blue Devils Invitational on Friday, which included teams from Division I, II and III, as the Lightning finished within the top ten in five events.

The Lehman Men's 4 x 400 Relay Team of Brayan Gonzalez, Jormy Polo, Emmanuel Fagbile and Oludemilade Lekan Michael took the seventh position with a time of 4:11.87.  Brian Cruz was eighth in the Pole Vault (2.70m), while Charles Howard also finished eighth in the Javelin (36.14m).

The Lightning Women's 4 x 400 Relay, Shivani Raghuthu, Amariah Emanuel-Tyler, Cheyenne Gray-Taitt and Malalia Siafa-Bangura, took fifth place as they clocked in at 5:46.29.  Raghuthu also got the ninth spot in the 1500 Meters with a time of 6:39.84.

Lehman will compete at the annual CUNYAC Championships next Saturday (May 3rd) at Randalls Island's Icahn Stadium.
