Bronx, N.Y. – Four members of the Lehman College outdoor track and field teams earned CUNYAC Post Season Accolades as
Charles Howard and
Quincy Miller were rewarded on the men's side, while
Amariah Emanuel-Tyler and
Alanis Vasquez did it for the women's squad.
In his first year with the Lightning men, Miller was named to the CUNYAC all-star team, after he competed in six meets this season, including the conference championship where he won silver as part of the 4 x 100 Relay Team (45.13).
Howard, who also saw action in six meets with Lehman men, was awarded the CUNYAC Sportsmanship Award, after he also finished third in the Javelin (38.31m) during the conference championship.
For the Lightning women, Vasquez, who competed in four meets during her rookie season, was selected to the CUNYAC all-star team after she took silver medal in Discus (22.35m) at the conference event.
Emanuel-Tyler, who also participated in four meets for Lightning, received the CUNYAC Sportsmanship Award.
