Men's Indoor Track & Field

Track Competes at the Armory

Both Lehman College men's and women's indoor track and field teams participated at the Ramapo College Season Opener on Friday, where the Lightning had 5 athletes finishing in the top 30 at their individual events against Division I, II and III teams.

In the Weight Throw, Jormy Polo led the way with a 10.76-meter mark, finishing 10th overall. On the track, Linbel Lloveres placed 18th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.85 seconds, while Cameron Dennis added a 17th-place finish in his event, clocking 52.81 seconds. Marc Saint-Hilaire competed in the mile, finishing 27th overall in 4:57.03.

The men capped the meet with a solid showing in the 4x400-meter relay, as the squad A: Fernando Madrid, Cameron Dennis, Eberto Fernandez,. Saint-Hilaire, and Mohammed Donzo ran a season-best 3:36.11 to place 13th overall and earn a new Division III No. 82 ranking.

On the women's side, Oluwaseun Adetunji led the way in the Weight Throw. Adetunji recorded a top mark of 7.83 meters, earning a 10th-place overall finish.

Lehman returns to action Sunday (February 1st) when they head to The Armory in Upper Manhattan to compete in the Millrose Games and Chester, PA to compete in the Weidner Schuylkill Showdown.
