Dr. Harvey Perlow was a stellar all-around student-athlete at Lehman College during his time at this institution. He represented the school in two sports: Basketball and Track and Field. A four-year member of the basketball team, Perlow established himself as a great scorer, averaging 18 points per game in his freshman year, 12 in his sophomore season, 19 during his junior campaign, and 18 during his senior year. His last two seasons on the team, he served as team captain, providing leadership and stability to his squad. Upon graduation, he was invited to compete in the Millrose Games and was eventually invited to play professionally in Puerto Rico, France, and Israel. For Lehman’s track and field team, Harvey was one of a kind. After breaking the school record in the High Jump event in his sophomore year, he captured first place in the High Jump at the CUNYAC championship meet in both his junior and senior years. Also during his junior campaign, he medaled in the Junior National Championship.
Dr. Perlow also enjoyed success following his Lehman College career. After graduating, he attended Columbia Dental School and completed a residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Harvey Perlow eventually settled in as a dentist, and through hard work and dedication, he was selected by the Consumers Research Council as one of the top cosmetic dentists in America.
