The 6’4 Gonzalez made us of his height while at Lehman, excelling in basketball by earning the Men’s Basketball MVP and Lehman College Athlete of the Year in 1993. Gonzalez also earned the College’s Scholar Athlete distinction all four years at Lehman, putting his academic abilities to work as soon as he graduated earning his Masters in Sports Medicine and then later completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Gonzalez is considered one of the top physical therapists in the United States. In his private physical therapy practice he has treated numerous professional athletes. As physical therapist for the 2008 United States Olympic Fencing Team, Dr. Gonzalez’s wonderful care and attention led to his eight athletes earning silver medals.
