MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SUFFERS CONFERENCE DEFEAT TO BARUCH COLLEGE IN THREE SETS

The Lehman College men's volleyball team (8-14 Overall, 4-10 CUNYAC) dropped their final regular season conference match of the year, falling the Bearcats of Baruch College (28-9 Overall, 14-0 CUNYAC) by scores of 30-19, 30-10, and 30-18 Tuesday evening at Baruch's ARC Arena in New York, NY.

In the victory for Baruch College, it was Danial Levent, who was honored earlier in the evening as part of Senior Night, leading the way for his team as he recorded 16 kills to go along with five total blocks. In addition, another senior, Levi Rachmanov, tallied six kills and recorded five digs.

Despite the loss for Lehman College, junior Nate Martin put forth a solid effort on the night, leading the way for the Lightning by posting team-highs with 12 assists and 11 digs. Outside hitter RJ LeBlanc added seven kills on the night while Jonathan Cruz, who's been consistent for Lehman all season along, added five kills.

The Lightning will return to action for their final home match of the season on Wednesday evening, as the team welcomes the Bears of St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn to the APEX Center for a non-conference tussle, with match-time scheduled for 7:00pm. Prior to the contest, the Lehman College athletic department and the men's volleyball team will take a few moments to honor four-year seniors Matthew De Tiberiis and Joseph Bodden for their years of dedicated service to the squad.
