Following the split-morning for the Lightning, Lehman College Head Coach Daniel Skilins gave his thoughts on the way the team played.

“Today was a very good indication of some talent we posses as a team and as a whole,” Skilins said. “Joseph, RJ, and Nate really put forth great efforts today. Daniel saw some court time and made the most of it. We competed from start to finish and I could not have been happier with our attitudes and efforts. I think we will play a good match against CCNY on Tuesday, and hopefully we can get a victory and put a winning streak together.”

The Lightning return to action Tuesday evening as the team will take on the Beavers of the City College of New York at the APEX Center, with match-time scheduled for 7:00pm.
