Following the match, Lehman College head coach Zack Davis spoke well of his group.
“I feel as though we played well in the Hunter match six days ago, and our performance in that match gave us confidence,” Davis said. “We played a nice balanced match today, and we did a lot of the little things right. It's nice to get that first win under our belts, and now we'll focus on putting forth another quality effort against Manhattanville tomorrow.”
The Lehman College women's tennis team returns to action tomorrow afternoon as the Lightning will battle Manhattanville College, with match-time scheduled for 4:00pm.
