Lightning Volleyball Closes Regular Season With Loss to Ramapo

MAHWAH, N.J. - The Lehman men's volleyball team finished up its regular season with a four-set (25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 25-20) loss to Skyline power Ramapo College on Wednesday night, completing its schedule at 14-12.

The Lightning will now have about a week to prepare for its CUNYAC Championships quarterfinal matchup against Brooklyn College on April 10.

In Wednesday's loss to the Roadrunners, Luis Colon recorded his third straight game of double-digit kills as he finished with 12 putaways. Both Orlando Vargas and Brian Francisco each had nine kills. Setter Miguel Gallardo recorded 32 assists.

Lehman came close to forcing a fifth and deciding set with Ramapo, closing to within 19-17 in the fourth, but the Roadrunners tallied six of the final nine points to close out the match.
