BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team faced a tough City College of New York team on Thursday night, falling 3-0. Set scores were 25-12, 25-17, 15-18. Lehman is now 4-3 overall, 0-2 in the CUNYAC, while City is 3-4, 1-0 CUNYAC.

In the first set, City took advantage of several consecutive service aces to build an insurmountable lead. In the second set, once again CCNY took an early lead and cruised. In the third, once again City jumped out, and put the game away early.

On the evening, junior Manuel Bonilla (Bronx, N.Y./Walton) had 13 kills, while hitting .267. Senior Brian Francisco (Bronx, N.Y./John F. Kennedy) added ten kills. Defensively, senior Luis Colon (Bronx, N.Y./John F. Kennedy) had eight digs.

The Lightning will return home on February 28, hosting both York and John Jay. The games are makeups from the snowed out CUNYAC Multi-Match from February 9.
