BRONX, N.Y. – Wednesday means Game Day here in the APEX, as the women's and men's basketball teams welcome CUNY Athletic Conference rival Baruch College for a doubleheader. The women start the evening with a 5:30 p.m. start, and the men follow, around 7:30 p.m. This is the first meeting between the two schools this season.

The women are currently 10-5 on the season, and 4-2 in the CUNYAC. The Lightning snapped a three-game losing streak last time out, beating CCNY 66-61 over the weekend. Freshman Amely Del Rosario (Bronx, N.Y./John F. Kennedy) continues to light up the league, averaging 24.3 points per game in seven CUNYAC games so far this season. At 3-3 and in the middle of the CUNYAC pack, the Lightning will look to senior Kelvin Gil (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Hayes) to lead the way.
