DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2026 Division III Men's Basketball All-ECAC Teams and major award winners.
Lightning skipper Steve Schulman was voted Coach of the Year while
Amar Ndiaye was named All ECAC 2
nd Team.
Schulman led the Lightning to an undefeated CUNYAC regular season title and post season crown. He also guided the Lightning to the NCAA Tournament. It was only the second time that Lehman participated in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Lehman edned the 2025-26 season with a record of 21-7.
Ndiaey, a senior averaged 11.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to lead the Lightning to a 14-0 CUNYAC record, the CUNYAC Title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He also led the team with 61 blocked shots and a shooting percentage of .538.
He ranks 4
th in the country in offensive rebounding and 8
th total rebounds. He also ranks 20
th in double-doubles and 17
th in blocked shots. He has also been named the CUNYAC Player of the Year, D3hoops.comAll Region and an NABC All Region.
