Men's Volleyball Drops Pair at New Jersey City Univ.

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to host New Jersey City University on Saturday, getting swept, 3-0, in both matches. In the first match, set scores were 25-16, 25-16, 25-7, while the second match went 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.

Lehman has now dropped six consecutive matches, after opening the season with four straight victories. NJCU is 3-8.

In the opener, Lehman hit -.136 as a team, which the Lightning could not overcome. Sophomore Jaleel Lino (Bronx, N.Y./Toledo C.C.) had seven kills to lead the team, while adding seven digs. Junior Miguel Gallardo (Bronx, N.Y./Salesian) added ten digs and seven assists, both team highs.

In the second match, Gallardo had 11 kills while hitting .250, adding nine assists and five digs. Lino had six kills, ten assists, and six digs.

Lehman has now played five straight matches on the road, and will continue that trend on Monday, February 24, at Purchase College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
