BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Lehman college men's volleyball team concluded the 2014 regular season on a positive note, sweeping host Medgar Evers College on Wednesday night, 3-0. Set scores were 25-16, 25-21, 26-24.

With the victory, Lehman clinches the #6 spot in the upcoming CUNY Athletic Conference Championships, and will travel to face #3 York College on Tuesday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m.

Sophomore Ramon Jimenez (New York, N.Y./George Washington) had a breakout game, hitting .318, with nine kills. Junior Miguel Gallardo (Bronx, N.Y./Salesian) also had nine kills, while adding a team-high 10 digs. Junior Roberto Perez (Bronx, N.Y./Bronx Leadership) had a team-high 20 assists, with five kills and five digs.
