BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College Department on Athletics will recognize the alumni on Saturday, January 30.  The Lightning are scheduled to battle CCNY in a pair of key CUNYAC match-ups.  The women's game is scheduled to tip-off at noon with the men's game slated for a 3:00 PM start.  In between contests the Alumni will take to the court.  Many players from the Championship teams of the early 70s are schedule to appear and lace up their old sneakers. 

If there are any alumni who are interested in playing they should reach out to either Coach Eric Harrison or Steve Schulman.  The Alumni game should tip-off at approximately 1:45 PM with Coach Harrison serving as referee.  Once again this game should come down to the final possession.

Both Lightning teams are battling for conference supremacy this season.  A change in the post season tournament puts added pressure on the teams as they look to grab one of the top two seeds and receive a bye into the semi-finals. 

If you cannot make it out to the APEX please join us on-line as both games will be streamed.  During the broadcast we hope to hear from several alumni.  Lehman Sports Information Director Lenn Margolis will be calling all the action along with Sean Couch. The Lightning will also honor Legendary Coach and Hall of Famer Ed Kramer as his wife Cheryl will present the MVP of the men's game to a Lehman standout.
