The Lehman College men's volleyball team will host Baruch College in a 7:00 p.m. CUNYAC match on Thursday, February 25^th at the APEX Gymnasium in the Bronx.

The Lightning (3-10 / 2-4 CUNYAC) are looking to break out of an early season slump, having lost six straight matches. In their last two home matches last week, Lehman pushed both Brooklyn College and Purchase College to five sets before falling short.

Lehman is led by junior outside hitter Orlando Vargas, who is averaging 3.80 kills per set. At press time, Vargas ranked seventh in the nation in that category, and twelfth in the country in aces per set.  Vargas is no slouch on defense either, averaging 2.15 digs per set. Sophomore setter Emmanuel Ortiz is third in the conference in assists per set at 7.35.

The Bearcats of Baruch (6-5 / 5-1 CUNYAC) are currently second in the conference standings. They are led by sophomore opposite Stephen Roach, averaging 4.19 kills per set.
