Box Score New York, NY - Lehman (4-16:2-10) fell to CCNY (17-11:6-6) 3-2 in a CUNYAC men's volleyball match. Lehman won the first set 25-23. They were able to rally from down 19-15. In the second set with the score tied at 13 the Beavers scored the next seven points en route to a 25-16 victory. In the third, the Lightning had a 21-18 lead but could not close it out and fell 25-23. In the fourth the Lehman prevailed 25-23. In the fifth and deciding set the Lightning came out on the short end of the 15-6 decision.
Orlando Vargas led the Lehman attack with 10 kills.
Luis Roman added nine and
Henry Nunez eight as the Lightning have dropped their second straight.
Emmanuel Ortiz recorded 27 assists and 18 digs.
The Beavers were led by Sebastjano Aga with 29 kills. Tommy Holzmacher added 11 kills. Oleksandr Boychuk was credited with 41 assists and 13 digs while Aga registered 22 digs.
The Lightning are back in action Wednesday night as they host the College of Mt St. Vincent at 7:00 PM in the APEX. Lehman will recognize
Ramon Jimenez, the lone senior on the squad in a pre-game ceremony.
