Box Score Bronx, NY - Lehman's Men's volleyball team defeated Bard 3-0 to exact revenge from an early season loss to the Raptures. 

The Lehman victory snaps a 10 game skid and the Lightning now stand at 4-14.  Bard falls 3-16. 

Orlando Vargas paced the Lightning with 17 kills on 33 attacks.  Emmanuel Ortiz recorded a team high 21 assists and 11 digs.  Jose Bautista added 12 digs. 

Jesse Small and Alex Adams each were credited with 12 kills for the Raptors. 

In the first set with the score tied at 4, the Lightning went on a 5-1 run to take control; before going to claim victory 25-20.  In the second, Bard jumped out to a 3-1 lead but Lehman battled back to tie the set at 4.   The teams traded points for most of the set.  Trailing 22-21 the Lightning were able to string together the final four points of the set to earn a 2-0 lead.  In the third Bard again jumped out to a lead but it took the Lightning a little longer to battle back.  With the score tied at 10 the teams began to trade points.  With the set tied at 17, the Lightning took control by winning the next three points and cruising to a 25-23 victory. 

Lehman steps back into the CUNYAC conference on Thursday night when they travel to Manhattan for a showdown with Hunter College.  Earlier this year Hunter defeated Lehman 3-0.
