Bronx, NY – The Lehman College men's volleyball team will take on New Jersey City University tonight at 7:00 pm in the APEX.
The Lightning (0-4) are coming off a pair of losses to Rutgers-Newark and Southern Virginia, two highly regarded squads.
Yordy Diaz led the Lightning with 19 kills and 11 digs.
Roberto Ventura Diaz slammed 14 kills and was credited with 11 digs as well. Setter
Emmanuel Ortiz recorded 21 assists in the tri-match.
This will be the first match of the season for the Gothic Knights. NJCU is in a rebuilding building year. The Gothic Knights lost six starters from last year's squad that went 19-18.
Lehman hits the road Wednesday for a contest at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. First serve is at 7:00 pm in Riverdale.
