Mylo Mitchell scored a career high 30 points to lead the Lightning to a 69-59 victory over York (0-11:0-4). Mitchell also added 10 rebounds for his first career double double. Lehman improves to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the CUNYAC.
Trailing by two, 53-51 with just under eight minutes to play, the Lightning went on a 9-0 run to take a 60-53 advantage with 4:29 remaining. The Cardinals were able to cut the lead to five on several occasions but would not get any closer. Mitchell scored the Lightning's final nine points of the game, including a pair from the charity stripe to tie the game at 53 with 7:15 to play.
John Brens added 14 points for Lehman. Lehman was able to force 30 turnover which overcame the minus 13 rebounding margin.
Ryan St. John paced the Cardinals with 18 points.
The Lightning look to make it two straight on Friday night at Baruch.
