The Lehman College men's and women's basketball teams begin conference play tonight as they travel to upper Manhattan to face the Beavers of CCNY. Action will begin with the women's match-up at 5:00 PM from Nat Holman Gymnasium on the campus of City College. The men's game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 PM.
The Lehman women now stand at 3-2 after posting a pair of victories this week over St. Elizabeth (66-55) and Valley Forge (64-58). Lehman is being led by the trio of seniors
Lynda Fields,
Ayanna Behagen and
Aliyah Dorsett. Fields is averaging 16.2 points per game and leads the team in assists. Behagen is averaging 13.2 points per game and leads the team in 30. Meanwhile Dorsett is averaging 10.8 points and a team leading 7.4 rebounds per contest.
CCNY also enters the game with a 3-2 record. Ashley Brooks and Debra Chan lead the Beavers with a 12.8 and 11.8 scoring average respectively. Brooks also leads the squad in rebounding with a 15.2 average.

Women's Live Stats
The Lightning men are 2-2 after suffering a heartbreaking OT loss at Farmingdale this past Wednesday night. Lehman has four players averaging double figures.
Andrew Utate leads the way scoring just under 22 points per game and his 6.5 rebounds per night leads the team.
Luis Hernandez is chipping in 15.5 points per game and leads the team in assists.
Mylo Mitchell nets 13.3 points per game while shooting .593 from the field.
Jean Marcial is adding 12 points and six rebounds per contest.
The Beavers (0-4) have gotten off to a slow start this season and are still looking for their first win of the year. Head Coach Paul Daliis relying on six returning players and 10 freshman in his rookie campaign. Dundalk CC transfer James White is the only player netting double figures. The junior is averaging 14.5 points per game.
