The Lehman men's volleyball team is looking to get back to .500 with a non-conference match at Brooklyn College. Lehman stands at 7-8:2-1 with a conference victory over Medgar Evers on Tuesday night.
Lehman controlled the tempo of the first set and continued throughout the match as they defeated Cougars in straight sets, 3-0 [25-7, 25-9, 25-11].
Yaw Eshun led a balanced offensive attack with a team-high five kills, while
John Mark Flores and
Mentor Mahmuti each added four kills.
Dominique Herrera posted a game-best seven service aces, while
Kristopher Rodriguez (three kills and aces) and
Jose Bautista (13 assists) contributed to the victory.
The Bulldogs are 9-6 overall and sit atop the CUNYAC standings with a conference record of 3-0. Brooklyn is coming off a hard fought 3—2 victory over York College.
First serve is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
