Lightning Falls in Straight Sets to Baruch in CUNYAC Semifinals

New York, N.Y. -- The No. 3 Lehman College men's volleyball team's 2017 season came to an end after losing to No. 2 Baruch College in straight sets, 3-0 [25-12, 25-13, 25-15], Thursday night in the CUNYAC Tournament semifinals at the Hunter College Sportsplex.

Yaw Eshun led the way for the Lightning (15-11) in a losing effort with five kills, while Roberto Ventura Diaz and Peter Veljovic each slammed four kills. They also got three kills from Yordy Diaz, while Emmanuel Ortiz dished out a team-best 15 assists.

This concludes a very successful campaign for the Lightning, who finished with a 15-11 record and a third-place finish in the conference.
