The Lehman Basketball teams to Manhattan tonight to face Hunter while the swimming teams will host Baruch.
Action at the Hunter College Sportsplex get under at 5:00 PM as the women take the court. Lehman enters the contest with a record of 8-7:4-2. In their last outing the Lightning got a scare from Baruch but were eventually able to hold on to defeat the Bearcats 96-94 in double overtime. Lehman got 25 points from
Lynda Fields and
Aliyah Dorsett as well as a career high 15 rebounds from
Selena Lopez to preserve the victory. Hunter sits at 11-3:4-1 after easily handling York 98-48. The Hawks are led by Jade Aponte. The junior from Baldwin, NY is averaging 18.2 points per game.

The men will play the late game this evening with first place on the line. Lehman sits at 9-4:5-1 while the Hawks are 8-5:5-0. The Lightning dispatched Baruch in their last outing 68-52. The Lightning got a season high 19 points from
Jean Marcial and 18 from
Andrew Utate to secure the victory. The Hawks rallied from an 8 point second half deficit to down York 82-73. Hunter was a perfect 9-9 down the stretch from the foul line to earn the victory. George Keener and Matt Franks combined for 42 of the teams 84 points.
