The Lightning basketball teams will host CCNY in a rare Friday afternoon double header while the women's swimming team will host John Jay in the APEX.
The women's basketball team got back to their winning ways this past Wednesday night as they easily handled Medgar Evers 84-40. The victory moved the Lightning (9-8:5-3) into fourth place in the CUNYAC tied with CCNY.
Lynda Fields led the way for Lehman with 23 points and eight assists.
Aliyah Dorsett added 20 points and nine rebounds.

Lisa Fields chipped in 16 and 11 points respectively. The Lightning scored the first 13 points of the game and never looked back. The Beavers have won their last three games and now stand at 11-5:5-3. In their last outing they travel to Washington DC and downed Trinity 70-50. Emily Arias came off the bench to spark the Beavers with 20 points. Earlier this season the Lightning went into Nat Holman Gym and defeated City 74-59. In that game Behagen led Lehman with 24 points.

The Lehman men are coming off a 93-68 victory over Medgar Evers. It was the fifth time this season that the Lightning have scored at least 90 points.
Tevon Bennett led the charge for the Lightning. The senior earned his first start scoring a team high 18 points in 18 minutes of action. Lehman (12-4:7-1)) has now won four in a row and sit atop the CUNYAC. City College has struggled this season. The Beavers are 1-15 overall and 1-7 in league play. Their lone victory ironically was against York 86-77, the only team in the CUNYAC that defeated Lehman. In their last outing they fell to New Rochelle 91-83. Newcomer Brendan Hauser leads the Beavers with a 15.3 points per game average although he has only played in four games. James White and Sal Palazzolo are each tallying double digits peer game.

The John Jay (3-5:2-3) women's team looks to rebound from a 113-91 defeat at the hands of CSI earlier this week. The Lightning (3-7:1-4) are coming off 91-66 defeat of York.
