The Lehman College men's and women's basketball teams will travel to Manhattan on Tuesday night to take on the Baruch Bearcats in a pair of key conference match-ups.

The women take to the hardwood at 5:30 PM with the men's game to follow.  The Lehman women enter the contest with a record of 12-9 overall and 8-4 in CUNYAC play.  Lehman is coming off a pair of conference victories in which they dismantled York (99-72) and John Jay (100-49).  A quartet of Lightning players are averaging double figures.  Lynda Fields leads the team with a 16.4 points per game average.  Ayanna Behagen is chipping in 13.7 points per game.  Aliyah Dorsett and Lillybeth Garcia are adding 12.8 and 10.2 points per contest.  Baruch sits at 4-12:4-7 having lost four of their last five.  The Bearcats are in the midst of a five game home stand, their longest of the season.

The men's game tips at approximately 7:30 PM as the Lightning look to put a strangle hold on the rest of the CUNYAC.  A win tonight will give the Lightning, a sweep of Baruch and a bye into the semi-finals of the post season tournament.  Lehman sits atop the conference with a 16-4:11-1 mark.  The Lightning have won eight in a row and are being led by the CUNYAC reigning Player of the Week Luis Hernandez.   The senior from Miami, FL is averaging almost 19 points per game while shooting 139-242 (.574) from the floor.  Three other seniors are also averaging double figures for the Lightning; who are averaging a league best 85 points per night.  Andrew Utate is chipping in 16.4 points per contest while Mylo Mitchell and Jean Marcial are adding 13.3 and 11.6 respectively.  Baruch is the stingiest team in the league only surrendering 65 points per game and enters the contest with a record of 11-8:8-3.
