The Lehman College men's and women's basketball teams will travel to Brooklyn to face Medagr Evers College in their final regular season road game of the year. Meanwhile the volleyball team will cross the Hudson River to take on NJCU in a non-conference match.
The Lightning women have been idle for the past week and bring their 13-9:9-4 record into the Cougar Cave where they have been successful over the years. In their last outing, Lehman picked up a road victory at Baruch 80-57. Six Lehman players scored double figures and accounted for all of Lehman's points.
Lynda Fields led the way with 19.
Aliyah Dorsett and
Selena Lopez each recorded a double double. Dorsett scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Lopez tallied 10 points while grabbing 14 rebounds. In their most recent outing, Medgar Evers earned their second win of the season with a 51-41 victory over John Jay on Tuesday night and improved to 2-20:2-11. Malecka Davis posted her second double double of the season as she led the team with 19 points, 11 of which coming from the foul line, and a season high 10 rebounds. Earlier this season the lightning defeated the Cougars 84-40.

The Lehman men are riding a 10 game winning streak. In their most recent outing the Lightning (18-4:12-1) held back #27 Gwynedd Mercy College 85-68 in the inaugural CUNY-CSAC Challenge.
Luis Hernandez, the two time reigning CUNYAC Player of the Week and
Mylo Mitchell led the way with 21 and 19 points respectively. Earlier this year the Lightning cruised to a 25 point victory over the Cougars in the APEX. Lehman needs one victory or a Staten Island loss in their remaining games to secure the number one seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Post Season Tournament. Medgar Evers (6-16:4-9) was upended by John Jay on Tuesday night 81-62. Justin Sutton and Joancarlo Bonilla combined for more than half of the Cougars points. Senior Maurice Swaby leads the CUNYAC in scoring, averaging just under 20 points per night. He did not play in the first meeting between the two schools.

Volleyball action gets underway at 7 PM from the John J Moore Athletics and Fitness Center on the campus of NJCU. On Tuesday night the Lightning were a straight set winner over Purchase.
Roberto Ventura Diaz led Lehman with 10 kills. Felipe Velandia and
George Montilla were credited with 13 assists apiece.
Jose Bautista recorded a team high 14 digs. The victory snapped a four match skid and improves Lehman's record to 2-4. Meanwhile the Gothic Knights also were in action on Tuesday and defeated in state rival St. Elizabeth's 3-0 to improve to 2-3. .
