Box Score New York - The Lehman College men's volleyball team saw its 2017-18 campaign come to an end with a 3-0 loss to Hunter in the CUNYAC Semifinal match played at Baruch on Friday night.  The scores of the sets went 25-16, 25-18 and 26-24.

Yaw Eshun led the team with ten kills, while George Montilla had 25 assists and 12 digs.  Lehman took a 4-2 lead in set one thanks to a Peter Veljovic kill and three errors from the Hawks.  They would come back and take the set, 25-16.

Lehman fell behind early in the second set and was never able to recover.  Hunter took set two, 25-18.

A Filipe Velandia kill early in set three put the Lightning up, 2-1.  A subsequent Jose Bautista ace made the score 3-1.  The score would go back and forth and be even several ties for a Velandia serve was misplayed for an error that put Lehman up, 18-14.  Hunter took the set 26-24 and the match, 3-0.

The season ended for the Lightning with an overall record of 15-18 and a 4-4 conference ledger.
