Bronx, N.Y. – Both of Lehman College basketball teams along with the indoor track and field squads will be in action on Friday as the Lightning hoopsters hosts York College-NY in a doubleheader at The APEX Main Gym, while the Lehman runners travel to Lancaster, Pa. for another invitational.
The Lightning indoor track and field stars will compete at the Little Dip Invitational, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College, starting at 3:30 pm on Friday.
Lehman is making its second visit this month to Franklin & Marshall's Schnader Field House after competing at Coach I Open on January 12
th.
Victory Ike led the women's squad finishing second in the 200 meters in a time of 27.26. Ike also placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 4.66 m.
Glory Odeh placed ninth in the 3000 m with a time of 11:19.51. On the men's side,
Stefone Cobb and
Aaron Dickens placed fourth and seventh respectively in the 60 m. Cobb posted a 7.46 while Dickens posted a 7.54. The duo also placed in the top 10 in the 200 m. Dickens finished fourth in 24.12 and Cobb ninth (24.60).
Also on Friday, the Lehman basketball teams welcome CUNYAC rival York College-NY as the women's sides meet at 5 pm, while the men face-off at 7 pm. Fans unable to make the trip to campus can follow all of the action on line via live stats and live stream. Here are the links…

The Lightning women (1-17; 1-9 CUNYAC) are coming off a 66-44 conference loss at Medgar Evers College last Wednesday. Forward
Eriadna Vasquez sparked Lehman's offense with her third career double-double as she scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds. Meanwhile, the York Cardinals (3-16; 2-8 CUNYAC) dropped a 72-35 conference encounter to visiting Brooklyn College last Wednesday.
Lehman has won 15 of last 16 encounters against York, however in the previous meeting between the two earlier this season, the Cardinals ended a 15-game losing skid against the Lightning with a 75-47 victory at York College Gym on December 7, 2018. Guard
Lisa Fields had 16 points and five rebounds for Lehman in the loss.

Lehman has won six of the last eight meetings against York, with the previous encounter taking place earlier this season, on Dec. 7, 2018, with the Lightning posting a 76-62 road victory. Guard
