Bronx, N.Y. – Both of Lehman College basketball teams are back in action this Wednesday hosting a CUNYAC Doubleheader against College of Staten Island (CSI) at The APEX Main Gym. The women's sides square off at 5 pm, while the men will meet at 7 pm.

Lehman women (1-12; 1-4 CUNYAC) is coming off a 75-36 conference loss at Hunter College this past Monday. Forward

Khadijah Sangare scored eight points each for the Lightning. Meanwhile, Dolphins of CSI (11-4; 5-1 CUNYAC) were also in action on last Monday as they posted a 58-55 road victory over conference foe Brooklyn College.
The Lightning have dropped four consecutive games against the Dolphins and have only four overall wins in 19 head-to-head meetings since 2010. The previous encounter took place during CUNYAC Championship Semifinals with CSI posting an 80-56 win at CCNY's Nat Holman Gymnasium on February 21, 2018. Guard
Lisa Fields had 10 points, five steals and four rebounds for Lehman.
The Lightning's last victory over the Dolphins came on Feb. 10, 2017 (79-75) at CSI Sports & Recreation Center. Fields also saw 20 minutes of action in that encounter two seasons ago while adding four points and four steals.
The last time Lehman topped CSI as the home side, during the regular season, was on January 25, 2012, (64-63 win) during CUNYAC match-up held at BMCC.
The Lightning men (5-7; 3-2 CUNYAC) also continue conference play at The APEX on Wednesday after earning an 81-69 conference road victory against Hunter College at the Hunter Sportsplex this past Monday. Forward
Isaiah Geathers had his fourth double-double of the season with Lehman as he notched 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Forward
Miguel Haboosh added 19 points with six boards for the Lightning, while guard
Will Feldman scored 12 points, with six rebounds and five assists.
Also, last Monday, the Dolphins (9-6; 5-1 CUNYAC) posted their seventh consecutive win of the season by defeating hosts Brooklyn, 69-65, in conference action.
CSI holds a 12-5 head-to-head record against Lehman since 2010, however the Lightning have won two of the previous three meetings. The last time both teams faced off was at CUNYAC Championship Final with the Dolphins winning 77-75 on Feb. 23, 2018 at Nat Holman Gymnasium.
The last meeting between the two sides at The APEX took place on Feb. 10, 2018, with the Lightning edging out the Dolphins, 83-82. Haboosh is the only Lehman returnee that saw action in that encounter which was decided by a driving layup from the home side in the closing seconds of regulation.
