Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College basketball teams will hosts Hunter College in a CUNYAC twin-bill at The APEX Main Gym on Friday the women's sides tip-off at 5 pm, while the men's squads face-off at 7 pm.

The Lightning women (1-12; 1-3 CUNYAC) are coming off a 90-36 road loss against conference rival Brooklyn College at West Quad Gymnasium on Wednesday. Forward

Fatomata Trawalleh added 10 points and five boards for the Lightning. Meanwhile, the Hawks (7-6; 3-1 CUNYAC) posted a 75-71 home victory over former conference opponent College of Staten Island (CSI) at Hunter Sportsplex on Wednesday.
Lehman has won seven of the 11 previous encounters against Hunter, however the Hawks have taken three out of the last four meetings. The previous match-up between the two sides took place on February 1, 2019, with Hunter posting an 85-39 win at The APEX.
Also at The APEX on Friday, the Lightning men (8-5; 3-1 CUNYAC) look to extend their current winning streak to eight games when they take on the Hawks (1-12; 1-3 CUNYAC).
Lehman won its seventh consecutive game this past Wednesday after defeating hosts Brooklyn, 72-55, in a CUNYAC encounter at the West Quad Gymnasium. Forward

Meanwhile, Hunter dropped its seventh straight game on Wednesday after a 67-59 loss to visiting CSI at Hunter Sportsplex.
The Lightning have won 11 of the last 12 home encounters against the Hawks. However, the previous meeting between the two sides took place on February 1, 2019, with Hunter ending an 11-game losing skid at The APEX after a 70-66 victory. Geathers scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Lightning.
