Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Lehman College men's volleyball team opened the 2020 campaign at the King's College Tri-Match, falling to the College of St. Elizabeth and to the hosts, Kings College by the identical score of 3-0. 
 
In the opener against St. Elizabeth, Lehman fell by scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-22.  Peter Veljovic led the Lightning attack with 8 kills while Amari Blake added five.  Mentor Mahmuti was credited with a team high 13 assists and Christian Agudo recorded 11 digs. 
 
In the nightcap against Kings, the Lightning dropped three sets by the scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-8.  Veljovic and Mahmuti once again led the way with 10 and five kills respectively.  Dyvon Webb also added five kills.  Veljovic and Blake were also credited with three blocks apiece.  Mahmuti recorded 16 assists and Agudo led the team with 10 digs. 
 
The Lightning will compete in their home opener on Friday night as they host cross town rival the College of Mt. St. Vincent.  First serve is scheduled for 6 PM in the APEX.
