Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team will hosts Sarah Lawrence College in a non-conference match-up set at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday with first serve set for 7 pm. The Lightning are currently 2-6 this season, while the Gryphons are 1-8.

Lehman is coming off back-to-back three-set losses to Messiah College (9-25, 11-25, 16-25) and hosts Kean University (11-25, 12-25, 17-25) during a non-conference tri-match in Union, N.J. over the weekend. Peter Veljovic led the offense for the Lightning with six kills against Kean and then four more against Messiah.
Meanwhile, Sarah Lawrence dropped three straight sets (15-25, 11-25, 11-25) to visiting CCNY at Campbell Sports Center in Bronxville, N.Y. over the weekend.
Lehman has won five of the last six head-to-head encounters against Sarah Lawrence since 2014. The last meeting between the two sides took place last month (January 29th) at Campbell Sports Center with the Lightning winning 3-1 (25-7, 25-13, 22-25, 25-16). Veljovic had nine kills with four service aces and eight digs, while Amari Blake also hit for nine kills along with four blocks. Dyvon Webb notched six kills, while Mentor Mahmuti added five kills, with 23 assists and four aces.
