Bronx, N.Y. – Five Lehman College athletics (three men's, two women's) teams will all be on the road this Saturday as indoor track and field squads travel to Williamstown, Mass. for an invitational meet; while both basketballers will visit Baruch College in a CUNYAC twin-bill; and men's volleyball side heads to St. Davids, Pa. for a non-conference tri-match.
Indoor Track/Field Squads Compete At EPHS Track Meet
For a second time this season, both Lehman's indoor track and field squads will travel to the state of Massachusetts as it competes at EPHS Track Meet hosted by Williams College in Williamstown with the first event set for 9:30 am.
The Lightning previously took part in Greater Boston Track Club Invitational in Cambridge, Mass. last month (January 19
th).
Lehman is coming off a tough competition at the Frank Colden Invitational last week at Collegeville, Pa. where top Lightning performances included in the indoor pentathlon:
Glory Odeh captured women's 800m clocking in at 2.27.69 and took sixth in the 60m Hurdles in a time of 9.84. mOn the men's side for Lehman at Frank Colden Invite,
Jinesh Shaji and
Stephen Matthews each finished fifth in 60 m (7.72) and High Jump (1.53m), respectively. Also taking fifth during the indoor pentathlon was
Kuron Williams with 5.54m in the Long Jump.
Hoopsters Visit Bearcats
Both Lightning Hoopsers will visit the Bearcats of Baruch in a CUNYAC twin-bill, on Saturday, at Manhattan's Arc Arena with the women's side facing off at 1 pm, while the men's squads meet at 3 pm.

Lehman women (1-22; 1-11 CUNYAC) are coming off a 94-25 conference loss at Hunter College this past Monday (February 10
th). Forward
Eriadna Vasquez scored 11 points with eight rebounds, while guard
Fatomata Trawalleh added 10 points for the Lightning. Meanwhile the Bearcats (13-9; 7-6 CUNYAC) dropped an 83-68 a conference game against visiting Brooklyn College on Wednesday (Feb. 12
th).
Baruch women have a 25-10 head-to-head record against Lehman since 2003, however the Lightning have won six of the last nine encounters. The previous match-up between the two sides took place last month (Jan. 17
th) at The APEX Main Gym with the Bearcats posting a 72-51 victory. Trawalleh notched 17 points for the Lightning.
Also, on Saturday at Arc Arena, the playoff bound Lightning men (14-9; 8-4 CUNYAC) will aim to secure a home game in the conference tournament when they take on the Bearcats (14-9; 8-5 CUNYAC) who are also looking to do the same.
Lehman is coming off a 79-73 road victory against conference rival Hunter this past Monday. Forward
Isaiah Geathers registered a career-high 34 points, while grabbing seven rebounds and two blocks for the Lightning. Meanwhile, Baruch topped visiting Brooklyn, 86-73, in a CUNYAC encounter on Wednesday.
The Bearcats have a slim 18-17 edge in the head-to-head series against the Lightning, however Lehman has won four of the last six meetings. The previous encounter between the two squads was held on last month (Jan. 17
th) at The APEX with hosts winning 60-58. Geathers scored 15 points, while guard
Gian Batista added 11 points and 13 boards for the Lightning.
Volleyballers Head To Pa. For Tri-Match
The Lightning (3-7) head to St. Davids, Pa. to compete in non-conference tri-match against St. Joseph's College-NY and hosts Eastern University at 2 and 4 pm, respectively.
