New York, NY – The Lehman College (4-8) men's volleyball team opens conference play today with a Tri-match at John Jay (2-9) with Baruch (8-5).  Lehman will take to the court at noon to face Baruch and 2 PM against host John Jay.
 
This past Saturday, the Lightning defeated St. Joseph's –Brooklyn and fell to Eastern.  In the victory over St. Joseph's, Peter Veljovic led the way with 10 kills and nine digs, while Dyvon Webb added eight kills, three aces and a pair of blocks.
 
Baruch (8-5) was 2-0 Saturday with a pair of 3-1 victories over D'Youville and Alvernia. 
John Jay stands at 2-9 overall with wins over Purchase and most recently Bard this past Tuesday night.  Jack Nugent led the Bloodhounds in the straight set victory with 10 kills and five blocks.  Nikita Kuznetsov registered eight kills and four aces.
