Bronx, NY – The Lehman College men's and women's basketball teams conclude the regular season tonight hosting the City College Beavers. The women's game tip-off at 5:30 PM followed by the men's game at 7:30.
While the men's team has already clinched a home play-off game for Saturday, the women need to win and get some help to qualify for the sixth and final spot in the CUNYAC Championship.
Before the women's game the Lightning will recognize the lone senior on the team Valeria Rojas. Lehman and CCNY are both battling for the final play-off spot along with York. Lehman comes into tonight's contest with a mark of 1-23 overall and 1-12 in league play. Three weeks ago the two teams met at Nat Homan Gym on the CCNY campus with the Beavers coming out on top 65-56.
Fatomata Trawalleh netted 16 points despite the loss. Rachel Vasquez and Rojas each recorded double figures in rebounding. Fans unable to make the trip to campus can follow all of the action on line via

The men will recognize seniors
Angel Nunez and
Tommy Batista before the start on the game. With a victory the Lightning will secure the third seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Tournament. Should the Lightning falter, Lehman might slip to the fourth seed depending on the results of the Hunter –John Jay contest. Earlier this season the Lightning came away with a 23 point victory (74-51) in a contest played at CCNY.
Isaiah Geathers led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
