Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College basketball teams will compete at tip-off tournaments on Friday as the men's side travels to University of Southern Maine, while the women's squad heads to University of St. Joseph's-Conn.
The men's hoopsters (1-0) will take on Regis College (0-1) in the opening semifinal match of the Southern Maine Tournament at Hill Gymnasium in Gorham with tip-off set for 7 pm ET. Fans can follow all the action via

The Lightning are coming off a 75-68 victory against hosts Mount St. Mary's College this past Tuesday in Newburgh, N.Y. Meanwhile, the Regis Pride dropped their season opener on the road to NCAA Division I's Holly Cross, 98-51.
Friday encounter will also be the first-ever meeting between Lehman-Regis. The victorious squad will take on the other semifinal winner between University of Maine-Presque Isle-Southern Maine on Saturday at 3 pm.
Elsewhere on Friday, the Lightning women (0-1) aim for their first victory of the season when they face Bard College (0-1) in the semifinal match-up of the St. Joseph's-Conn. Tournament at O'Connell Athletic Center in West Hartford with tip-off slated for 8 pm ET. Fans can follow all the action via

Lehman is coming off a 64-50 season opening loss to hosts Yeshiva University over the weekend, while Bard dropped its home-opener, 82-75, to Sarah Lawrence College this past Tuesday.
The Lightning-Raptors are facing off for the first time on Friday and the winner will advanced to Saturday's tournament finale against the either Lesley or hosts St. Joseph's-Conn.
