Head coach
Steven Schulman, who begins his 21
st season at the helm on Tuesday, has several key returnees to the Lightning that finished with a 16-11 overall mark and third place finished in CUNYAC standings with a 9-5 ledger.
Lehman's CUNYAC All-Stars of
Isaiah Geathers and
Gian Batista are back. Geathers led the Lightning last season with 18.9 points per game (ppg) which was also second in CUNYAC, while '20 All-Met (Metropolitan Area) Basketball Third Team Selectee Batista averaged 16.7 ppg and led squad and conference in assists (5.7),

The Lightning are taking on the Knights of Mount St. Mary's-NY, on Tuesday, for only the second time since 2009. Lehman won the previous encounter, 71-67, at The APEX Main Gym on December 11, 2019. Batista led the Lightning offense with 18 points while dishing out eight assists and grabbing six boards. Geathers added 17 points with nine rebounds, while Idrissou had 10 points and three blocks in the victory.
